Prince Edward Island

As in past years, the PEI Department of Health has provided the influenza vaccine to doctors' offices and family health clinics free of charge, with a fee to cover the cost of administering the vaccine. Family health clinics across the province will provide the vaccine by appointment during the fall to those without a family physician.

The Department of Health encourages Islanders in the high risk groups to receive the flu vaccine in order to help avoid illness.

Please visit the Department of Health website for further information on influenza and how best to treat and prevent it.
